About N.T. Enterprize

Norm Thompson & Cristina Posey are the owners of N.T. Enterprize. Norm has spent 45 years around the waters of Vancouver Island, and as a child he spent a lot of time on Piers Island. He started his trade with the Canadian Coast Guard, and got his 4th Engineers ticket there. He then went and worked with Finning Caterpillar, and other companies and later went on to getting his Welding ticket.

In the mid 80's he freelanced repairing boats at Van Isle Marina, North Saanich Marina and Art Rhodes Marina. However he took a break from Marine repairs for a few years, while he pulled wrenches in an open mine pit and some logging camps. But returned to the Marine work after a few years.

Norm started N.T. Enterprize in 1985, and has looked after the service and repairs on a local tug company since then. NT does repairs on Yachts, along with doing Tug & Ship repairs.

Cristina, Norm's daughter, joined up with the company in 2007 on a casual basis. She started full time in 2010, and has become a partner of NT Enterprize. She is learning the trade to become a HD Marine Mechanic, and also puts the "polishing touches" on the jobs.
